Jeep Wranglers are no fun to change the fuel pump. You have to drain the fuel then drop the tank. Dropping the tank can be easy or a major pain! If the bolts are rusted together you are in for a bad time. So cutting an access plate really simplifies changing the fuel pump!
Since I’ve added that access hole in my Jeep, I’ve pulled my pump twice. If needed the pump could be changed on the side of the road in under 20 minutes easy!
